I'm so excited! My Co-ax's parts are all layed out, except for the piston, which I haven't made yet. I'm still not sure how I will make it (any suggestions for a 1 1/2" piston at least an inch long?). Well, here's some pictures.

All parts layed out, unassembled.

Trigger System, sprinkler valve and back of gun.

Chamber (barrel housing).

Sprinkler valve (Un-modded, as of now; I am going to use a neighbors drill press because when I take the top off, the diaphragm comes off with it, and I can't get the top of the plastic cover off alone so I have to be careful drilling it).

Whole gun, assembled.

The trigger system is a modded Taurus PT92 Airsoft Pistol with a blowgun inside. Once again, the piston is not made. I dont know how I am going to make it yet. Maybe a hot glue casting? Suggestions please :D

Looks good. Maybe a hot glue piston?

Edit... Also, that is the same type of sprinkler valve I use and on mine the diaphragm DOES come out by it self. You just have to pull it off the top piece with a little force.

I'm not sure about a hot glue piston because its gotta be big... maybe I'll put a wine cork in the middle to fill it easier. Do hot glue pistons seal OK without an o-ring or a rubber gasket?

I think yo would still need a sealing face but MrCrowley make a 2" one for his VAL. I think there might be a how to in the how to section...

You could use a piece of 1.5 inch pipe for the mold... as long as you figure out a way to get it out.
If you have a store called atwoods nearby where you live then you can get big rubber washers there...

I like the way you hid the blowgun in the taurus but fork in hell, your pilot chamber is the size of Liechtenstein!

I like it too and also agree with the pilot volume.

Why not do something like me (placement of sprinkler wise)

you can see in the last pic the wooden bushing i made in order to keep things compact.

You can also fill through the blowgun, there's no need for that tee and separate filling valve.

Well only if he has a compressor, as a male quick connect fitting is the only thing that will still allow it to be piloted, but will hamper performace if not taken off.

I guess you could make some sort of shrader screw fitting but epic PITA because you'd have to hold open the blowgun while pumping and remove the fitting every time you want to fire.

You could remove the schrader core and keep the fitting on ;)

My shrader is already threaded. It is a 1/4" inlet. I know my pilot volume is ENORMOUS, but I'm lucky that I have a sprinkler valve to pilot it. I'm not going to use the idea of filling it through the blowgun... The pilot volume is less than it looks. The pipe is hardly in the fittings, and I am still going to cut it down to minimal length.

The piston may be finished by tonight...

BTW last night I casted a hot glue piston inside a piece of 1 1/2" pipe and it turned out terrible... the pipe was too large and when i finally got it out, the piston was all discombobulated... Brilliant.

It's at least 15 times bigger than it needs to be.

You're saying a lump of hot glue was confused hehe - sentient pistons, whatever next!

Did you lubricate the sides of the pipe before casting?

I used vasoline, but I guess I missed a spot because it all came out alright except for one place. I didn't fill it right anyway. As soon as i saw your name, I though "Oh god, he's gonna complain about my pilot volume". :D
