How do attach the propane injection with the chamber?

Boom! The classic potato gun harnesses the combustion of flammable vapor.

Hey,

How do I connect the elbow of the propane injection (shown in the tutorial) with my chamber? I mean drilling a hole in the chamber can be negative for the performance and safety - if it's not done perfect. So how do you do that?

Do you drill a hole in the chamber, that's a little bit smaller than the elbow and then press the elbow in it? And do you use any glue like epoxy?

Thanks for your help! :)
I'm sorry, my English is not so good but I'll try my best!

Drill through double thickness, tap/cut threads in the hole, screw in threaded 90 degree elbow. You will need a pipe thread tap.

I usually just make the hole a tiny bit smaller and thread the fitting into it to cut the threads. As far as sealing it goes, teflon tape is good, but I always use epoxy because I can't ever seem to get it exactly straight.

Hey, I've got another little question but I don't wanted to open a new thread.

I still want to build an advanced spud gun with a metered propane injection, just like this one: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/the-bea ... 13644.html

Is that a "Regular Combustion" or a "Hybrid Launcher"? I could't really image the difference form the Wiki.

I'm asking because I don't know which pipes to pick? ABS or PVC-U can stand ~135psi, so much more than it's possible with a regular combustion - but for a hybrid launcher it would be way to little.

It's a combustion cannon. If it was a hybrid, or operated as a hybrid, he would also inject air pressure in to the chamber with the fuel.
