This is my metal BB gun. Its firing mechanism is a single shot hammer valve.
Its chamber is 3/4 galvinised steel and the barrel is 1/4 brake line. The BBs fit loosely so I use a paper towel as wadding. At 80 psi I can shoot a BB clear through a coke can at close range. Ill try shooting some pellets as soon as I get some. As for accuracy I post it as soon as I get to test it outside. A video will be coming soon. Right now it has a leak where the barrel slides into the chamber. Any ideas how I can fix the leak.

Edit: Just shot a BB through three coke cans at 60 PSI at close range

Some epoxy should fix that leak... is there even any teflon?
The pics are really blurry too. Hard to see the gun.

Cant use epoxy as the barrel has to slide as the barrel is the valve. As for the pictures Ill retake them tomorrow when I take the video. And yes theres teflon.

Some details of the mechanism would be useful, is it an inline hammer valve like the Condor/Talon?

i like it but how do you fire it ? Does the barrel hit the value ? Or is a seperate hammer used ?

it looks a little like a gun which i made a while ago, it is based off a video which is on youtube, but a bit bigger. If i am correct, the barrel is blocked from one end, the barrel has a little hole on the side which is blocked. The side which is blocked sits inside the chamber.
A spring holds it in place, making sure the hole on the blocked side doesnt enter the chamber.
To shoot, simply push the barrel down, moving the barrel deeper into the chamber, and hence moving the hole inside the chamber where the gas inside can escape through the hole.

Hope that makes sence\is correct, i dont like explaining things without diagrams but i am on my phone...

Edit:
To fix the leak:
You must have a bolt or a nut or something wide on the blocked end of the barrel yes? To stop it from popping out? If you put an oring or a gasket around this so it forms a seal with the inside of the end cap, that thould stop the leak. Lol i used string and hot glue and made my own gasket.... But this gun never worked when i tried it, and i gave up. But i am willing to give it another go.

And it is a bit like a condor, sept your berrel is connected to your valve

Chinnerz your exactly right
This is the video its based off of
Its fired by pushing the barrel back which opens up a hole in the barrel.
Ill take a picture of the internals in a minute. I got the leaks fixed by adding another oring.

I pump it up with a bicycle pump, once I build my stirrup pump I'll try it with that

You could try adding a long slender piece of metal as a trigger and a stock and you are in business. The only flaws of this design are the fact that a higher pressure is harder to trigger, it leaks and it only gets one shot. But it looks like a nice little plinker. If you can trigger it i think you will be happier with higher pressures. Overall good job chico :D
Yeah, it's that important.
