Acrylic paint on PVC

Because potatoes only last one shot!

I plan to give my next gun a nice camoflauge paint job and was wondering if acrylic paint would weaken the pipe in any way. I have lots of it and I know this paint would look nice on this gun. Thanks

It should not weaken the pipe however you should sand the PVC to get the paint to stick to it.

Sanding the outside won't weaken it by enough to make a difference in strength.
