i want to make a breech for my 3/4" barrel on my over/under gun(i want to use normal ammo and burst-disk-marble ammo all in one barrel)
i was thinking of a union design however i am adding a T support further down the barrel and that will pose problems. any suggestions?
i looked at the bolt action type but i dont know how to turn that into a 3/4 " barrel. any suggestions?
in genera any suggestions on a breech for my barrel that woulduse normal AND burst disk marble ammo?
p.s. while im at it what is a .4 cal in inches (or millimeters)
p.s.s. can you change that color of this darned back ground ..i cant see my cursor
a pnuematic breech question
Just find a peice of pipe that fits in your barrel nicely, cut a hole in your barrel (Square maybe) and add a bolt to move the smaller pipe. For the pipe just try one size PVC down. CPVC might work too, test fit it before you buy any, some stores carry scraps you can get for next to nothing.
P.S. You will probably need 1 or 2 O-Rings, or something else to seal it with.

Just FYI, caliber, when refering to a gun barrel, is simply hundredths of an inch. A .22 caliber gun is 0.22". A .50 caliber gun is 0.50". Convert to mm with this link if you want to: http://www.onlineconversion.com/length_common.htm
