This is great. It has a whole host of books that are out of copyright and just about impossible to find nowadays. I just ordered one of their catalogs last week and it has even more books than the website.

And there is a book for everyone. Chemistry experiments, machining and tools (making AND using), welding, forges...all kinds of stuff.

As long as they are not layed out like Haines auto repair guides...

You will be reading the 3rd page then the 10th page then back to the 5th page, stupidest lay out I've ever seen and I've seen plenty of repair manuals.

I'm not really sure how the individual books are laid out, as I have not ordered one yet, but the catalog has a nice order to it. It is laid out, in no particular order, by the subject.

Browsing through the catalog, however, I was able to note several, several books that members here should find quite interesting (including at least three different books on how to make a lathe). I filled out the catalog request and it came about two days later.
