JB weld

hey i am making a support for my tator cannon and i was wondering will JB weld or epoxy bond wood to pvc? (like a good bond)

it should just sand and clean both surfaces

It will but it might not be suitable for your application. Like if you're trying to epoxy a handle to a cannon, that wouldn't be good because it would just rip the epoxy off. If you're trying to attach something that has no stress on it then it should be fine.

well i plan on using a big hose clamp too but i just want the JB weld to fill in gaps and add a little support as well.

Should be fine as long as the hose clamps take most of the stress.

i think they will i probably dont even need JB weld but it should look nicer with it. when i get it all set up how i like it and paint it i will put it up in the showcase its only my secound cannon and its nothing too great but im pretty proud of it because its my first pneumatic one

ya it will i cut the wood pretty close but i want to seal the little space in between and i will sand it and paint it anyways.


hey does anyone know of a solvent that will remove duct tape residue but wont eat pvc?

rubbing alcohol, "goo gone", etc. just stay from the really volatile solvents like gasoline, acetone, etc.

ok thanks, i wish i could find like a database online that has stuff that will and wont eat pvc.
