Fridge compressor

An idea for fridge compressor setup and lubrication recently crossed my mind. If you connect the inlet port of the compressor to an air tool lubricator and connect to to a shop air supply it would automatcially deliver oil to your compressor and the air being compressed would be pre pressurized to around 120psi depending on your shop air setup.

cool idea.... assuming you already have a shop compressor... but I like the idea of introducing some sort of automated air lubrication system...
just don't forget that it would be a good idea to have oil/water separator on the outlet too

I think I know how to build automated draining system for it... just mount a small needle valve at the bottom of the oil/water separator and set it to be almost closed (so that it leaks out just 0.5L or so per minute)

you can also put a check valve after the oil/water separator and air will slowly leak out from the outlet making it easier for the compressor to start up

his idea is to put air lubricator on the air inlet. In theory that could both cool the compressor (to some unknown degree) and automatically replenish oil that is being expelled through the output

I don't think a standard oil/water separator would withstand the pressures put out be a fridge compressor. Has anyone used a oil/water separator on a fridge compressor?

I've seen some rated to 40bar but AFAIK they are pretty hard to get
