Bolt Action Musket

This is really more of a side build for me, but I think it looks nice nonetheless. It is a spare parts gun with the valve reconfigured from my old semi-auto shotgun. Here's some specs:
SPECIFICATIONS:
CHAMBER-1" pvc
VALVE- super modified sprinkler valve (new diaphragm)
BARREL- about a foot of 3/4" pvc
PILOT VALVE- 1/4" 125psi pop-off.

That looks kinda like my first pneumatic gun... I like how you set up the pop off as the trigger... I've always kinda wanted to do that with a longer string for my big cannon so i can fire it artillery style...

Is the breech housed in 1.25" pvc?

The great thing about the pop off pilot is that it works well for a poor man's semi, and has full 1/4" flow.
Yes the breech is housed inside 1 1/4", i recommend it for 3/4" breech loaders, great fit

Gun Freak, if you hold down space it makes the message long enough

So does the pressure of the screws tightening hole the diaphragm in place enough to seal the air pressure too? Or do you use an o-ring around the groove of the sprinkler?

the diaphragm is free standing inside the valve. For sealing the cap i just cut the o'ring off the original diaphragm.

the diaphragm is filled from the back, the air pressure pushes it against the pipe inside the valve. or are you asking about the cap?
maybe free-standing is the wrong word...

It yields much more power than your average sprinkler, and can take up to 200 psi, but I won't be doing that any time soon, my bike pump died and i can't get a new one until school ends.

well the gun is pvc anyway, 200 psi wouldnt be safe.

pvc should be safe to 200 psi, most people dont trust it to anywhere near its rated pressure because of its "failure mode" I trust my solvent weld, but i cannot take it past 125 because of my trigger
