A few seconds on the bench grinder turns an ordinary nail head into a sharp chisel.
Note that the impression in the plywood show that the flat head went through it.
It is hard to imagine the impact of all that absorbed energy.
My Prochrono read a perfect 1,000 fps!
The plastic seal weighs 34 grains.
I reverse muzzle load the breech with a ramrod tube that goes over the nail to push the plastic seal.
What a hoot!
