Question for people who've used floating o-rings

Because potatoes only last one shot!

... with a bolt/washer/nut combo. Couldn't fit all that in the title.

Anyway, the washer has two sides. One is square and the other is rounded. Which one is better to use?

Actually, it probably doesn't matter. I might suggest putting the slightly rounded sides against the o-rings, the squared off sides might cut into or damage them with repeat operation. Just a guess though, it will no doubt seal better on the squared off sides though.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but if it would seal better on the square side then that's what I would use. Thanks.

As above, a slight bevel on the edge will ensure that the o-ring won't get torn, without affecting the capability of the rubber to seal.
