Boom! The classic potato gun harnesses the combustion of flammable vapor.

That has got to be the best spray and pray I have ever seen. I really like how the bolt action exposes your combustion chamber for fueling/venting.

You know what I think would be good? If you could replace the screw end cap.

O-ring at the back of the chamber, O-ring an inch or two forwards, cut a hole in the side of the pipe between the two as your spray port...

Have the whole thing seal into the back of the stock (you might need to put a pipe in there), and that way you wouldn't need to unscrew the back each time - simply working the bolt action would open it up for you to spray into. And when you close it up, the O-rings would seal against the inside of the space in the stock.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

I like that idea! Definitely would speed up the fueling and shooting process... even better, auto propane injection and venting :D

If you want to see details of the bsr's operation check out ... the idea for this came from a mix of the barret 50 and the 50 cal construction manual. here are some better pics.

I had missed this, very well put together. I second the suggestion for proper metering though, and surely after what you've accomplished it would be worth fitting an extractor that pops the shell out after firing...
