I plan on creating a new pneumatic cannon and I would like to have a small dia. barrel (1/2" of 3/4" haven't decided yet) but I was wondering if anybody had some ideas on a bolt action mechanism. I have tried one before but it was bulky and hard to use.

Any ideas appreciated!!!

And it is going to be a interchangeable barrel system that has a universal air chamber. So the bolt action should be incorporated with the barrel rather than the whole cannon.
