@ Matty zip, you can cut it off and put on a new one, But I had the exact same probelm your having , I put mine under water and plugged it with jb weld and hit it with a heat gun to fill in the cracks, Next i took my vacum cleaner taped it on the open end of my cannon and let the vacum suck in the jb weld into the hole. But its your cannnon, what ever works do it .Hope my idea works=)

JB weld is a metal epoxy. If you are going to fill a hole with epoxy, use the syringe type or another two part, just not jb weld. Jb is high viscosity too. Not good for hole filling.

at the end of my chamber
End of chamber does not need to be serviceableThat keeps it serviceable.

there is also a j b weld for plastics and pvc which is the one I use. It is 100 times stronger than epoxy and easier to work with. a new cap is only like two dollars, and I will only lose a couple inches off of the chamber, so I think I will go that way. But "jsefcik", that is a great idea and seems like a good process.. I also like the idea of the coupler and o ring that "jrrdw" suggested, but where would you put the o ring?? where the threads are on the cap?? let me know on that please, I'd appreciate it!!

Cut a o-ring groove in the plug. 2/3rds of the o-ring should fit in the groove, maybe a little more. It should be a snug fit into the coupler but not so tight you need a hammer to get it in.mattyzip77 wrote:where the threads are on the cap??
Keeps things versatile, maybe turn it into a co-axle at a later date etc...Gun Freak wrote:End of chamber does not need to be serviceable

You dont screw the plug, you use a slip plug. I still think you should just cap it.

I have all the supplies to do it any of the ways mentioned, im just trying to learn more and more in the process of everything. But, i am going to re cap it, its the easiest route, and least stressful too!!!
