Places to find piston pump heads?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I've seen threads about people making homemade high pressure pumps and I want to make one as well. The only problem that I'm having is that I have no idea where I can find a piston pump head that could use a floating O-ring with and could be screwed onto a long threaded rod.

Any help?

Use nuts and washers to make a groove for the o-ring and make everything air-tight with epoxy.

Some one GETS IT!

Thought I went pretty easy on him actually. Must admit I've been getting pretty frustrated :banghead: with the recent influx of newbies not searching and asking stupid questions by the truckload. Must be getting old and cranky...well...cranky anyways. :violent1:

I clicked "search", typed in "Home made pump", searching for ALL terms in the how-to section. This gave me a handful of topics and this is a useful one.

I also recommend you read this; it'll help if you can't find stuff effectively-
