I was putting pipe together looking for a nice layout for my next cannon and a chunk of pipe got stuck in a tee, the pipe has paint on it. I need a way to get the 2 apart, they're pretty hard to get apart. Could I use pipe cleaner or primer, or should I use soap or something. Myabe I could twist them with 2 wrenches.
P.S. I don't have a vice grip.
Stuck Pipe
No matter what situation, a hammer and chunk of wood has never let me down.

Wrap a boiling hot rag around the outside of the tee rite where the pipe is stuck and start pulling rite away, when it comes loose quickly take the rag off. The heat from the rag will expand the pipe only where it needs to. Thats the best way i know.
P.S.: Handle the boiling rag with pliers so you don't burn yourself, dhuaaa!

that's funny! (sorry, people generally enjoy hearing about other people in pain, its human nature). i nearly smacked myself in the face with a 4" endcap once.Benny wrote:be careful when you do what the above poster suggested, i tryed it once and hit my self in the balls.
that would have left a big mark, prolly wouldn't have much of a face for that matter.
i wanted to blow out a stuck pipe with air pressure once but i decided not to.
Heh, once while working on a stun gun box I got a shock through my hand and the vice I was working with. The shock didn't bother me at all but my arm smacking into the tool chest behind me because of the uncontrolable reflex hurt like a bitch.
