blowgun on coaxil piston??

has anyone ever used a blowgun on a coaxil piston for exausting the air? would it let air out fast enough?

people have used blowguns for supahs, i think thats as big as they get

its 1.5 inch chamber and piston, half inch barrell

You should be fine. Blowguns are used to exhaust sprinkler valves which are about the same size as your cannon.

yea it works, i've used blow guns for much bigger cannons too

It doesn't work for diaphragms. Currently the glue on my new coax (same 1.5" with .5" barrel) is drying but usually after like 8 or 9 hours I put it to 20 psi to check for leaks. IF you put o-rings on the piston it will be slightly harder to slide it and harder to open it.

Hmmmm.....(my idea has spread nicely)

Would it be better to put a sprinkler valve on it befor the blowgun, would the gun be more powerfull?

nah i dont think it would make that much of a difference on this small of a gun.

this is kinda off topic but speak of speaking of sprinkler valves...do you know where i can get one of those common green one inch ones that joel sells? i would buy from him but i heard he is on vacation plus my friend ordered from him and it took a month. point being i dont want to wait that long. any suggesitons?

I'm not sure if you can buy it from here buy http://www.HDsupply.com (Home-Depot Supply) sells them for about $14... I don't know if anyones ordered from there, but I keep wanting to...

Search for 57101 on hdsupply.com and it will some up with the sprinkler that Joel sells (Orbit Watermaster 1" In-Line Model # 57101)

thank you frogy im ordering it right now. its only 13 bucks too! i would have never found that cause im stupid. thanks alot

edit: haha it said required a business name to order so i made up one. now everything says its billed to derrick inc.
