As long as you solder well you do not need to make them stronger... Depends on the copper but i think most copper is rated for about 120psi. I know BtB went to about 300psi with copper but said it felt very nasty... Im sure 200psi would be ok and 240psi is pushing it.

copper is rated for atleast 500psi, more if its type L. But when your done, start shooting at 100 psi, and bring your way up. stop were u feel safe.

its was pretty neat actually, but then we let all the pressure out, but we did hook a soda bottle up and start pumping =)killerbanjo wrote:i would not trust plumbing copper at 600 psi... I would be shitting myself.

that all depends on what type off copper pipe you the size, what solder you use, and of course how well you solder the joints.mr.potatohead wrote:\ what psi may i go up to

That is very true,, if you braze it you can with stand higher pressures

that could lower it because it heats up the pipe to much witch makes it weaker.jsefcik wrote:That is very true,, if you braze it you can with stand higher pressures

brazing is alot better, higher pressures, your safer, look at refrigeration lines those are all brazed
