A few questions

Ok after your recent mishap on these forums I began to look around and became fascinated with spud guns. I have never done anything like this before since I am electronics guy, I usually build with that. My friend is always talking about this place and his plans with me in chemistry level 1. So now I want to make a propane injected cannon with pvc and was wondering about a few things:
1. General price cost
2. Time it takes to build a cannon
3. Any decent plans or designs for a propane injected cannon
4. General damage or distance you get from this type.
5. Any good igintor plans

If their arent any good designs any where you could point me to on tools and procedures used on planning these guns out and propane injection assemblies and yes I saw the ones on here.

1. it depends on how exacat you want to measure the propane any where 30+
2. if you have all the parts 30 min at most unless you want to make it really complicated
3. not from me, go look your self
4. once again it depends size of cannon, look on the forums at peoples cannons and damage pic

About 10-20 bucks for a standard cannon. Plus Propane parts.
PVC glue needs about a day to dry.

Ok I do research and last time I checked asking questions was a good way to gain knowledge one does not know. But I thank you for the information you provided me with. Since I do not know one thing about these guns I want to get my facts straight before attempting anything with them.

Glad to help. I suggest using your cannon first with hair spray to get a feel for it, then attach your propane system. Mine with hairspray goes about 250 ft maybe, never measured.

i would suggest anti static spray. i still use anti static spray and a lantern lighter and it still impresses me. it always launches walnuts out of sight. its definately worth the money to build one. you will be impressed with the results.

Since you are good with electronics you could likely make a good flyback tranformer ignition and sweet controllers.
