Mag-lite High Velocity Launcher

Hi, This is my Mini Mag-Lite Coaxial gun.

Specs
.177 steel bb/pellets
600 fps as per the soda can chronograph
Plastic/Rubber Piston
So far only 200 PSI
Shrader Cap used to press valve Stem
**Piston is Servicable**

Ok I dont want to take it over 200 PSI because I dont know how much the Mag-Lite Can Handle. Also I can shoot a varity of ammo, for example you can fill the hollow point pellets with anything, glow paint for tracers, and "Magic powder" if a fairy is kind enough to lend you some.

200 psi sounds like a good limit to stick too, you're getting pretty good performance anyway - and nicely done keeping it largely intact externally as a maglite!

Not that loud at 200PSI, but does anyone know the max pressure a mag lite can go to.

What's the wall thickness and diameter of the aluminium tube?

These aren't of the Mag Lite brand but I've taken both of these up to about 350PSI without any trouble. Stick under 400PSI and you should be fine in my opinion; though I don't blame you for wanting to stay lower than that.

edit: nice build by the way! I've been patiently waiting what must be about two years for another person to pick up on using these metal flashlights as coaxials.

It will hold air for at least 4 hours, i didn't go any longer because i thought it would mess up the sealing face

Na, neither of them are actually Maglites; sometimes I just use that in the title to attract more viewers.

I would bet that a Mag Lite is built just as well, if not better, than that green 'Kathmandu' branded flashlight I modified. Put it this way, the aluminium is not going to fail at 350PSI; as long as your epoxy joints were applied correctly it should be fine at such pressures. You can always put it in a box or protective cover while you pressurize it and leave it for half an hour or so.

Okay So i found out that hollow tip pellets are awesome!

Pellet filled with glow paint=Tracers
Pellet filled with bleach= Poison Pellets
Pellets with a x cut in them= Frag Pellets
and various other pellet loads that I cant discuss here

i charge $40 per one, and poland, my customers can take it to 600psi if they want after they sign a wavier, i mean i dont wanna do it lol.

Nice! $40 each isn't too bad. I received more than a few requests after uploading the videos and how-to guide of my one but figured it would be too much of a hassle, especially since I live in a different hemisphere.
