Will this mark on the fitting effect glueing

Because potatoes only last one shot!

Will the mark effect the glue from adhering or damage the fitting?

which are the surfaces that you need to glue?

The bushing shown in the picture will be glued into a 90degree elbow.

... but the mark is on the outside, right? not actually on the surface where you will be applying the glue?

It's a bushing so it's going to be going to into the elbow.

You should be able to use it. There is a whole lot of surface area that is OK. That one small place won't matter.
