mini potato gun

i was thinking about making the mini pill bottle gun and i was wondering though what kind of fuel should i use because its so small. and if anybody reading this could give me some good pointers on these types of guns they sound really cool

They are very fun. I like to use butane. Just run a ligher in the chamber for a whail (not lit) then hurry and cap it up and fire! It will take a few tries, but afer a short time, you should be able to get down how much fuel to put in pretty good.

yea I made one yesterday, lots of fun, don't have pics though... I got a few q-tips a good 20 feet, nothing compared to other people's but not bad for the FIRST spud-gun I've ever made...

yea I saw it, looks cool, mine was made out of a film holder though... worked ok... but I used matches to light it... cuz I didn't have an igniter

RaBidWolf your little picture is pretty sick. When my mini gun exploded and hit me it didnt even hurt i was just laughing. But it did make my ears ring for a couple minutes. Tell me if i right but if you used a small and narrow bottle wouldnt you get more distance and power out of your gun. Because i was thinking that when you use a large bottle the force from the explosion is going all over but it has to go out this little hole. But if you used a long narrow bottle i would help concentrate the explosion and direct it out through the hole. Sorry if you dont get what im talking about its hard to explain. Write if you get what im sayin or im just dont know what im talking about.

try this .
get a pen tube, some party poppers and a potato
take the party popper apart and thread the string
on the powder from the party popper thru the
little hole in the back of the pen tube then put a chunk
of potato in the pen tube and cram it down to the bottom
pull the string to fire

this will put a hole in a coke can with some pellets
i made from water putty
