Trebuchet

I'm prety new to this site i've been browsing it the past sevral days and i seen a topic about a trebuchet. (someone was going to build one or something) well in metalshop last year i made a trebuchet that was pretty big.(i'll post a pic if any one is interested) but i was wondering if any one has built a trebuchet or any other type of catapult if so it would be cool if you could post a pic thanks.

Yeah, I made a small one out of 1/2 in. pvc, flings eggs a good 50 ft , I dont have a camera at the moment so I cant post a pic

ok here's what I made in metal shop is it's a rust bucket because I never got around to sandblasting and painting it. It uses 2 50lb plates for the counter weight. It throws a basketball about 50 yards, I think I can get more distance out of it if I tweek it a little more.

i just made a treb out of 3/4 pvc that shoots golfballs about 120ft my next one is going to be a free arm treb and im hoping it will be much more powerful.

Found a camera...Heres my trebuchet with 8 lb. counterweight, I dont really use it anymore since I found out about spud guns. lol

we made little lame trebuchet in shop class the tech had a pretty kool one it shot golf balls about 100-150ft ours shot 1/2 inch wooden balls about 50ft

i made a mini trebuchet in woodwork cos i got bored.shot out golf balls and tini rocks.wish i didnt light it on fire cos it broke.

We made spring catapults in tech class, I got stuck with the smart group, which is bad in this case. They were so smart they lacked all common sense, and they seemed to be obsessed with duct tape. They ended up duct taping the stuff together, basically the arm went further than the ammo.
