They eventually made the barrel much longer, and added a chamber.

In fairness, Jack, the Mythbusters' cannon is from their most recent series. And disappointingly, they end up using another less than optimal valve on the final version.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Yes, they always use some kind of ball valve, and this time their HP tank had a very small exit hole, something like 3/8 for a 2" barrel, very disappointing

Would this work with Nerf Darts? They are also light, and have a really good snug fit in the barrel.
