Valve won't activate above 60 psi
I'm using an Orbit 1" NPT anti-siphon valve to power my pneumatic spud gun. (I understand why anti-siphon valves aren't a great choice but for now it's what I have). The gun works well enough until the pressure in the chamber exceeds 60 psi, at which point the valve won't activate at all. As soon as the pressure drops back down to 60 psi it can be activated again. Has anyone encountered this? I can't find any information. Even called Orbit customer support and they were stumped. If it's not just a bad valve or a flaw in the design (which is rated up to 125 psi), the only other culprit I can think of would be that it somehow requires more current to activate with higher pressure and my electronic trigger isn't beefy enough, but that seems unlikely.

While it might seem unlikely, this is exactly the case. The solenoid valve is kept shut by the pressure, meaning the more pressure you have in the system, the more energy is required to open it.it somehow requires more current to activate with higher pressure and my electronic trigger isn't beefy enough, but that seems unlikely.
