I work at a family entertainment center and we have a very large pool that we operate our bumper boats in. I want to build a coin op water cannon on the side of the pool that customers can put a coin in and launch a water cannon at those riding the boats. My first idea was to submerge a piece of pvc with air connected to one end and the other end opened with a few small holes in the side so the water of the pool can enter the pipe between launches. It's powered by a 130psi air compressor.
Couple questions I could use guidance on
-is launching it with the air directly out of the air compressor ok? Or should I have some kind of tank that is filled first.
-can anyone recommend a good cost effective 24v valve to release the air
- any other thoughts?

You should definitely have a buffer tank of some sort, otherwise flow restriction will limit your performance.is launching it with the air directly out of the air compressor ok? Or should I have some kind of tank that is filled first
