Hi guys, I've decided I want to make an airgun to shoot BB's and I am wanting some advice on the inner workings of an air gun. To my understanding, you could make an airgun with a bike pump (to compress the air) attached to tubing or a cylinder (to hold the compressed air) and then attached to a valve to keep that air in and to release that air into the barrel. Is this correct? If so, any advice on what parts I actually need to buy? I'm looking to be as cheap as I can and to use a bike pump as I think that would be one of the cheapest ways. Thanks!

Just made this up to try the ball valve, it works really well
