Propane Regulator

I am having a hard time finding a propane regulator, and I don't think I know what to look for. Any names or links would be greatly appreciated.

Could I rig up a paintball regulator? Or is there something special about a propane regulator?

go to the air tools section of home depot/lowes or w/e and look for inline regulators.


omg it is hard to type with one hand, stupid ass hot glue burnt my poor pinky finger.

Just use any air compressor regulator becuase the propane bottles only have 90psi pressure in them so a usual compressor regulator is what i use.

Dont buy an airflow regulator, you need a PRESSURE regulator ...

Or you can use Mr. Heater part #F273719<--I think That's it, not sure though. It is a regulator meant for propane and is very consistent.

an air tool regulator... air is a gas, propane is a gas... figure it out.

Just buy what i posted.

figured, just making sure propane didnt react with anything (o-rings and such) in a normal pneu reg.

On air compressor regulators it specifically states to not be used for bottled gas. This is because there is a small hole that is used in regulation process that will leak a small steady stream of propane. This normally wont be a problem of you becoming a fireball, but is annoying in the fact of the smell. Simply answered, the pneumatic regulator will work.

On a side note I plan on making a homemade regulator of mine when ever I get a lathe...

Yea, how true, although I think most of this forum can admit I dont make wild claims and usally follow threw with them. Although if all works out im going next weekend down to the Vegas Harbor Freight to get the 8x12 lathe...
