Why do nerf darts fly straight?

Miniature cannons are novelties made with materials such as bottles or pens.

As above, they fly well considering they dont have fletchings or spin?

Section density. Head heavy with light tail. Will fly straighter if it had fins. I had plans to print a rifled barrel for a nerf gun and test out but haven't got the time.
