What is 0000 buckshot used for?

Building or modifying BB, Airsoft, and pellet types of guns. Target practice only!

Sorry to ask if it is a basic question but I am not aware about this. I want to know about 0000 buckshot.

It's used for shooting big mother buckers.

Most people settle on 00 as the go to buckshot for defense because each pellet is reasonably effective, but some people value quantity as a quality of it's own. In Vietnam special forces favored 000 buck as the go to buckshot for the better coverage of the jungle, they also sometimes had duckbill chokes to make wide shot patterns and those chokes only work with 000 buck shot or smaller.
