i love potato cannons,
i want to make one that is going to last a long time and impress guests.
i wanted to make one that used propane that i could attach mapp gas to the hose.
however when researching this i learned that for a mapp gas and oxygen mixed makes to much pressure and heat so it would need to be made of metal
is this true? if so has anyone made a guide on how to weld a metal potato cannon and inject mapp gas into it
i am unsure. what i wanted to replicate was this: but don't want it to blow up in my face
easy mapp gas potato cannon

One is generally well advised not to mess with oxygen.
If you do, PVC construction is not a good idea, as the potential pressure generated increases proportionally to the amount of oxygen available.
Consider using a syringe to meter your fuel for good and consistent performance, rather than guesswork and hoping for the best.
