Dose anyone on here go on spudtech forum? Can you always see an updated page? I can see that threr are new posts in my thread but can veiw it. I have tried refreshing it repeatedly.

Can someone please go on spudtech forums, go in my thread in pneumatic cannons called Silencer - ideas and copy and past fullmetaljackets post here please?

I made a post just to see if I could see it but I cant even see that!

definitely the second one - having more than one chamber within the silencer will make it more effective than the first one, while the others with holes in the outer tube of silencer make it next to useless.

You might also want to alter the spacing between the wooden discs, different chamber volumes usually make silencers more efficient.

edit - the discrepancy between the 4mm holes and 22mm barrel is a bit too big. You might want to make larger holes (about 6-8mm), alternatively make a large quantity of smaller holes. Remember the holes have to be filed smooth to avoid interfering with the projectile's travel.
