Wow, that is amasing! four Tippmann A5's stuck together. Imagine how you would feel going up against something like that. That forum has got really great paintball mods on it.

I wish I could take part in d-day, there are a few thousand paintball players going every year.

...and I was expecting something like <a href="http://www.american180.com/history/index.html">this</a>...

Tell ya what, though: I'd much prefer a firesquad of 4 to a single guy with 4 guns.

It's funny.

Me and my friend were playing paintball in my back yard the other day, (which is quite large). We were both about 40 yards apart and longballing at each other, (because the match had just started).

We had discussed previously the advantages and disadvantages of high rates-of-fire before we started playing. Both of us had an MR1 modified with better O-rings, a better feed neck, and 200 rounds of paint and a 20 oz. CO2 tank.

We were both caught in this sort of stand-off. He was firing a burst of about 10 paintballs at me and I ducked into a stand of trees. He finished his burst and then ducked behind a stand of tall grass.

At this moment, I stuck my gun between some branches, quickly and barely indexed my shot, and jerked off a round at him at about a 33 degree angle.

A second or so later, I heard a "Sh%&!!!" and then a "mask off!!!", so I pulled my mask off and walked over to see what happened.

Turns out that one shot had traveled 40 yards at a high enough angle to get over the grass, and then landed square in his crotch. That ended that match and pretty much all the rest after that.

High rates-of-fire are no match for a well-aimed, (well, kind of :D ), shot.
