Please Help. Need better loading Mechanism!

Hello. I just finished making a "spud" paintball gun, and currently the loading I use is "musket" style. I was wondering if any of you can present me with several ideas on how to make a semi-auto or even bolt-action mechanism for my paintballs, so i dont have to use a stick to cram the projectile through the long barrel....

btw the barrel size is 3/4in. just enough for paintballs

Material and method is for a 1", but I'm pretty sure you can adapt it to 3/4"

Search around on this site and the Wiki for breech-loading mechanisms. There are lots of designs for simple bolt-action and breech-loader systems, and several good ones for semi-auto, though it's hard to convert an already-built gun to semi-auto.
