Hey I just finished my first pneumatic gun. I modded a 1 inch Orbit. The first time I filled and shot it (with nothing in the barrel) it worked like a champ. Ever since that the air will just travel striaght through the valve and out the barrel when I fill the chamber
. Any input on how to fix this would be very much appreciated.

Yes, check for leeks, are you using a bike pump or an air compressor?

Im using an air compressor and it doesnt seem like there is any leaks.
A couple things you could try:
Take apart the valve, clean and wash the diaphragm, make sure it's dry, put it back together.
Make sure the solenoid is screwed in all the way.
Make sure the manual bleed switch is down.
Make sure your pilot doesn't leak.
Make sure the equalization hole isn't clogged, if it is, slide a knife between the two flaps, and wash it.

No I took the top off, but I thought he meant you could somehow further take the insides out.
