Help with Chronograph

What is the best way to shoot over a chronograph? How far away should it be ect. Thanks

Keep it about 6 inches away from the chrony, no chance of missing.

i wouldnt keep it to close because sometimes the chrony picks up the explosion/air that comes out of the barrel instead of just the object of fire so yes six inches is a bit close but i think it would work
