Putting it in this section would imply you built it...

So it is an advertisement??
You are hoping to make some money on a site where everybody builds their own guns???
Well...it does seem to have some features we'll never be able to build ourselves...
Can you give us some more info??

I just emailed Bill at warpig about the fact that I am just now going from home laboratory to home factory and how I should make the transition in regards to posting on the boards. I don't want to be a walking ad, but I think the gun speaks for itself and I want to share. I have considered selling parts kits as well since it solves a lot of problems that homebuilders have. I won't be able to post detailed pics for a few more weeks, but I will have a video of it operating posted this weekend over at warpig. I'd love to make a donation here for some advertising too.
I love it. If I did paintball regularly enough, then it looks like it would be a great secondary weapon, for making people put their heads down pretty sharpish.
But at 20 paintballs a shot, that could be £1 (about $2) a shot at the prices that some fields charge for paintballs. At internet prices, it's still 20p a go, but that's not excessively bad going.
You'll probably get flak from the mods for advertising though.
Novacastrian:How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on? frankrede:Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.
It runs off of HPA. I am going to try it with CO2 as well. I have been firing it between 50-300 psi. With 15-20 paintballs and simple paper towel sabots I get 150fps at 125psi and 395fps at 275psi. Using better sabots would be more efficient. I have had little nerf balls up to 495 fps. I really need to find some good operating ranges for firing at 225 fps for paintballs and finned nerf type rounds. I haven't tried any of the larger air chambers yet, so it has been less than a 1:1 ratio for the volume. The valve works wonders.
It is pneumatically driven so there is never any need to wind it. I will go into greater detail and post pictures of the parts as soon as the attorney give me the ok. I am told it will only be a few more weeks. At that point I will be happy to go over the fine details and reveal a couple other neat things about the launcher that isn't apparent from the video or pictures.
Just a few small tweaks and a few materials that need to arrive before production begins on the first fifty. I have been approached for it to be used in a number of different applications, but I would love to see it used for paintball scenario games and also speedball games against other shotgun style weapons.
As far as flak from the mods, even though this is going to be a commercial venture, I designed and built this launcher from my garage and living room over the last few years in the exact same way you guys are building yours. That being said I'd be glad to pay for some advertising space. It's not like I have some massive war chest, but I'm going to make an honest run at this. It's time that we have a decent base to work from that is safer than what we are all used to with pneumatic launchers. I wish I could make them for as little as a sprinkler valve launcher, but it just isn't so.
I might make the parts available in the near future for guys who like to experiment with things but don't have the time to start from scratch. It's all still in it's infancy as far as marketing goes. I'm just curious as to what people think of it.
The Eclipse is a pneumatically powered, semi automatic 40mm launching platform. This entry is my final pre-production prototype. The firing cylinder...
Hi, Ive had this design, in my head for at least a year now, and Ive finally found the parts I need for it. I would be very grateful for any comments...
