modding a valve

I have never used a sprinkler valve i only used a ball valve. if you dont modify a sprinkler valve will it still work? and will it be stronger then a ball valve

It will be a lot better than a ball valve modded or unmodded. You should really mod it though. It's really easy. Just stick a brass nipple in the top and get a blow gun and some tubing and your good. You also don't have wires all over your gun, just a single blow gun that also looks somewhat like a real trigger. If you need help modding, search the How-To section.

Modding a Sprinkler Valve

Yes, they can work without being modded. Modding it makes the diaphragm open faster, allowing the air to escape faster, instead of having to have batteries and stuff.

You can put a normal soilenoid on your cannon to start out, then if you want to and/or know how to, you can modify it, it will preform better.
