What to build.

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I haven't built a phenumatic in a while, and spring is spring along so I figured I will make one.

B. 10' 4'' tank with dual modded sprinkler valves, plumed with hardlines(1/2'') and then activated with a 2'' piston valve.

I decied to go with B. I will make the 4'' piston valve in the summer when I have time to get the parts for it.

So now I need to deiced weather to have 2 sprinkler valves activated by a 2'' piston valve, or go with 2 piston valves(2'' in and 1'' or 1 1/4'' out)

Build B. I'de like to see a big piston valve opened by a smaller one, that would be really cool.

A couple of questions about the first two:

A) Is that a 4" porting piston valve?
B) Are the sprinkler valves actuating the piston valve, or vise versa?

A comes from your desgin, 4'' in and 3'' out. And on B the piston valve will activate the sprinkler valves.

Humm,I could do 2 piston valves, 2'' and 1'' out, like sprinkler valves.

Go with "A" Bigger is always better. You can't go wrong with a 4" piston valve.

Well, I think I am going to go with something smaller. I might try twin 10' 3'' chambers, and then 3 2'' in and 1'' out pisotn valves.

In the summer when I start working I want to build dual 4'' 10' chamber, with 2 4'' in and 3'' out piston valves.

Suggestions, commets??

Make a Vogt pattern baseball gun with a 3" porting piston valve! :D

Or you could finish that hybrid you're always talking about.

The 4'' piston is out until the summer time.

So now it is going to be a 10' 3'' chamber with 2 modded sprinkler valves that are activated by a 2'' in and 1'' out piston valve. And it will be plumbed with hard lines.
