Just ran across this on youtube, hope it hasn't been posted before.

Looks like these guys cut the bottom off a large gas cylinder and converted it into a calcium carbide cannon. Looks like a pretty cool project.

It looks cool and pretty loud. Just to think, if they had some thing other than plastic garbage bags to shoot. lol
