That is a lovely cannon. Although (I think) you did originally get it from Joel (did I read it right?), you've made some wonderful adjustments.

frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

I got the original design from Joel, and quite a few of the componenets used in building it. I redesigned the strapping, added the clear combustion chamber, electric exhaust system, the handles with the leather grips, the chrome regulator, and braided hosing, paint job, nuclear graphic, and display stand.

Another 1/2 mile claim.

Really nice gun, but half a mile, my ass.

yer half mile maybe if you got enough power behind a lead slug, i somhow dont see that it could be possible, after reading joannardway post on another topic i somehow dont think it is that easy to do especialy with the size of your gun

I was more looking for comments on design and possible shortcomings that I may have overlooked. Maybe half a mile is too much, who knows? More importantly. who really cares? It really packs an amazing punch and sends potatos really, really far. Honestly speaking I think my pneumatic launcher delivers more velocity, but this one is the real crowd pleaser.

im pretty sure that pneumatic of your would definetly pack a bit more punch than this but, even tho this one is portable. +'s and -'s to both of them but they are both great.

Yeah - 1/2 a mile is unlikely, but in this case, I couldn't give a damn.

I don't really think there's much you've over looked.

It doesn't look like you have an internal chamber fan, which could help power, and a longer barrel would give it more oomph, but I'm not sure you can change that one.

Aloha Nuker,
i would like to tell you that you have some cool guns. i like your fan set up alot and i was thinking of tring the same thing as yours.
just wondering about your propane setup could you tell me what you used to attach it to the gun and where did you get the pressure meter from? and where can i get a setup like that one.

Aloha Mahalo
I purchased the pressure meter from Joel Suprise @ spudtech.com. Unforunately, he is temporarily out of business as he is taking a job in Iraq. (and I thought I had a hostile work environment...) Burnt Lake has a web page dedicated to building these. http://www.burntlatke.com/lp.html Hope this helps.
Good Luck
Craig
