new way of using camera for ignition

Here is my way of using a disposible camera for ignition. I wanted a way of easily using just the camera and not haveing to figure out ignition coils or whatever people are doing. With and o ring i can get a perfect seal and i can push the bolt down realy smoothly and consistently get HUGE sparks. Sorry for the blurry picture but I can't get my camera to work right Here is a video demonstrating how the ignition works. Just wondering what you guys thoughts would be on this setup.

Sorry about that. Well i don't no anything at all about currents or electricity but i know you cant get a spark using a camera without the wires touching. So i connected one wire to a bolt and screwed it into the chamber the other bolt i put a spring on the bolt and and nut screwed onto the bolt on the inside of the chamber, then connected the other wire to the bolt. So when i press on the bolt with the spring it touches the other bolt making a large spark.

So how many times did you shock yourself making it?

It wont shock your hands because your hand has more resistance then the metal thus the electricity just wants to go through the metal contacts equalize... you can hold one of the leads and nothin will happen at this voltage... this is only true with DC.

It seems like you can put it on a cannon and it would be easy to fire, no twisting or hard pzeizos to press!

Yes, I have put the system on a cannon. It seems to work fine but i don't have a propane meter so its hard for me to realy tell how well it works. its a pretty cool to just flip a switch and push a button to shoot the cannon. you can always tell when you get a good spark because it makes a realy loud snap when it sparks.
