O.K, Try filling the valve more rapidly, some valves will not hold pressure when they are filled slowly. Do this with a compressor or CO2 tank. If you dont have a compressor than install a ball valve before the sprinkler valve and get the tank up to pressure before opening the ball valve. If this does not work than check for any leaks on you sprinklers pilot's. Also before you do all this make sure the pilot tab is DOWN, hope this helps. post your gun when it done!!

Well did u lube the sprinkler valve up yet? I suggest to use lithium grease it works really good! and mod the valve to it will open much quicker.

ok wow i think im being a little underesimtated. lol . I already checked if it was backwards, i already lubed it, with white lithium grease, in fact. But anyway, i tried filling it faster, but to my surprise it accually held pressure when filled much slower. Any ideas why this is happening?
thanks again guys

The equalization hole might be too small so when it's filled fast, air doesn't make it above the diaphragm in time to keep it down.
Solution: On some valves, there is a white thing in the equalization hole. You can simply take it out. If this isn't the case just make a bigger equalization hole.

You probably enlarged the equilization hole too much, and keeps the pilot valve from venting fast enough. You can use a little drop of epoxy or something to cover a part of the hole, but don't plug it completely.

ok i found this odd white thing that goes throught the rubber seal aroung the phram. is this the hole that you speak of?
