I think there just trying to exhibit some basic automation, so I guess you could still consider that useless. I have always been interested in automation, and simple mechanics. Anyway, have to say my favorite part of the process is the "stepping stair" bit, mocking a crankshaft, and piston assembly found in a car. Just used varying length of connecting rod to cause a incline. As well the rotary face one was pretty cool.

gotta love legos. I thought the bridge like platforms which changed inclines was interesting, so was the stepping stair thing as pimp mentioned.

if you made this, you either are really clever or have a lot of spare time on your hands. but most likely, its a combination of the two

Overly complicated and it achieves no logical purpose, I love it!!! Suddenly I'm stuck with a great idea for a pneumatic loading system for golfballs, I shall have to pursue this...

if it could be possible.Someone here should make a Spudfiles Build Team and they could probably have a go at tackling an autofeeder like that. :D
