Well, I'm making a new hybrid, a Gen II one, and needed some 2" Sch 80 PVC. On McMaster you can get 5 feet of it for $10.85, not including shipping and tax, and an end cap is another $8.62. $8 for an end cap was too much for me, so I started checking places locally. I found a scrap yard! I got a 2" Sch 80 end cap for free, 5 feet of the pipe for $8, some 1 1/2" Sch 80 for free, and a high pressure (200 psi) sprinkler valve for one dollar. I also got a bag full, probably about 5 pounds of miscellaneous Sch 40 and 80 fittings.
My advice: Look in local scrap and junk yards at the beginning of projects, it's ridiculous what you can find there.

I'm lazy too, but if I actually dedcide to do something, then I can usually get it done pretty fast. I'll be gone all of next week, and I want it to be done and waiting for me when I get back. :D

I tried to be neat with the purple primer, I just used the last of my clear stuff on the paintball pistol.

I'm sick of that clear crap. Sure, it looks better. But I can't see where I put it on, and it smells even worse than the purple stuff.

If I didn't just buy a thing of clear primer, I would go out and buy some purple right now (maybe not, considering its almost 12:30 am...)

Rant over.

I used to finish projects fast... but now I order parts from all over, so it takes forever. And they keep getting more and more expensive  .

The easiest way to prime pipe is to put the primer in a jar, the dip the pipe end in the jar. You can get it in the perfect amount that you ned to fill the socket or whatever. You also know that you've got the whole needed section primed if you know you dipped it.
