Cloud/Vortex Feed

Would it be plausible to make a strafer/cloud attached directly to an air source then have it feed into a flexible hose then into a barrel? Would it lose too much power in the process?

My first barrel ever was a hose, it works fine as a barrel, and as long as it's tight fitting the power is the same or only a little less than if you had a brakeline barrel.

it might put a funky spin of the bb, making it curve, like a hop-up. thats all i could think of
