Modding an orbit - Solenoid in the middle.

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

i just bought a one inch orbit spprinkler valve. i would like to mod it but the solenoid is smack dab in the middle. all the "how to" the solenoid is off to the side. how would i go about modding this? thanks

pull the solenoid off and drill your hole their, this way a hole is already their so it is stronger. In my opinion this type of valve is better :D

so i drill the hole for the blowgun were the soleniod goes?

Yes, this valve already had a hole from the solinoid, so just make it bigger.

Is this peice part of the top of the valve?
If it is a seperate peice then yes.

Unless he is modding the valve with a 1" valve I don't see how he could drill a hole in the solenoid port.

So you would say that this type of valve is better than the other "standard valves"? Either way, it's good to know alternatives.
