Great new mini ammo

Miniature cannons are novelties made with materials such as bottles or pens.

Well I was bored yesterday, so I decided to make some new ammo for my mini. I remembered seeing these on the internet. So I decided to make a version of those rockets to fit over my mini's barrel. It is made of magazine paper rolled into a tube, with the end taped up enough to be almost airtight, and an aluminium foil nosecone wrapped in tape, and 4 cardboard fins. It fits the outside of the barrel very well, and can slide without too much resistence but there is practically no gaps for the gas to escape.
I fired it today, it was very loud for a mini, and when I checked the distance on google earth, it said the rocket had travelled 70m! Not bad for a pill bottle :D

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Well I know where I lauched it, and it landed right at the end of the street so it was pretty easy to know where it had landed on google earth, then I just used the ruler tool in google earth and clicked the two points and it gave me the distance.

And even better is your google earth method! :D

I may be able to make a vid, not sure when though. As for measuring with google earth, I read about it somwhere else on this forum ages ago, so I can't claim credit for it.

EDIT: Here is where I originally heard of using google earth to measure.
