First Cannon
This is my first cannon, And I think it turned out pretty well. Credit goes to whoever it was that knocked some common sense into me and reminded me what sandpaper is for.
It isn't finished at this point.. still need to get either an ignition coil or a lantern lighter. Will get damage pictures as so as possible. Here's what I have already:

Pretty good for a first :glasses4:
Wish my first looked as nice... that way I probably wouldn't be using it for scrap right now... and if I may say so, I would definitely stay away from lantern lighters; if I had the option I would just use a good old BBQ igniter... they're cheap, simple to install and 'fairly' reliable. At least more so than lantern lighters from what I've experienced. Either way, nice job so far!
Well, The only reason it looks good is because the cement is black like the pipe.DirtyDan wrote:Wish my first looked as nice... that way I probably wouldn't be using it for scrap right now... and if I may say so, I would definitely stay away from lantern lighters; if I had the option I would just use a good old BBQ igniter... they're cheap, simple to install and 'fairly' reliable. Your lantern sparkers probably got wet, or you needed to replace the flints.
I'm currently saving up for the parts for either an ign. coil circuit of a flyback circuit.
EDIT: I think I'm gonna use a bbq sparker at first while I save up for ign. coil parts.
