Hey all,
I need a little help, can somebody please give me the ID and OD of 2 through 6 inch SCH40 PVC pipe and fittings (mainly the fittings as I can find the pipe info myself.), thanks.
Also if I’ve missed anything important please let me know.

Incase you’ve wondered were I’ve bean (or maybe you were just glad to see me gone :)), I’ve bean spending a lot of time working on three different auto-cannon designs, I’ve got a prototype partially built, and as soon as it’s operation, or at least finished if it don’t work…(now I’ve jinxed it…) I’ll post it.
If people want I can share my past attempts, and a few ideas I have yet to take from the paper. (I.e. 4ga/12ga pump shotgun for paintball, .75cal/.50cal paintball combat-rifle, and a .75cal/.50cal paintball belt-fed LMG, all cartridge fed).

Thanks All!!

Well, I guess you could look at the wall thickness for sch40 6" pipe and guestimate the OD of the fittings. The ID would of course be the OD of the respective pipe.

Are we talking auto pneumatics or combustions? In any case someone really needs to work on an auto combustion.

(edit: sorry didn't notice which section it was in)

Pneumatics, I don’t work with combustions, not because I’m scared, I just can’t get the dumb things to work!:)

Although I’ve got a few old plans for an auto-hybrid, and, if you give me the time, I could update them with the knowledge I have now to the point that it might work

Also I’ve got an idea for a 4 inch auto-howitzer, a 1.50/2.00cal auto-cannon and a .75/.50cal HMG.

EDIT:
Sorry, forgot to thank you for the idea, (I’m watching TV) so thanks for the idea, if nothing else it’s a rough number, which is better than nothing, which is better than what I got…:)

Since when did they make .75cal paint? Other than that, sounds pretty badass. I'm really looking forward to seeing your guns.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

Pyrogeek,
Wadded .68cal paintballs, I rounded it to .75cal even though that’s a still not right for ¾”SCH40 PVC

hubb017,
thanks.

I'll send you a spreadsheet Dewey sent me if I can find it in my maze of email folders. But here's my "general" knowledge...

Fitting I.D.'s are the O.D. of the pipe size they are made for, except they are over-sized at the front of the socket, and then taper to spec. and past as you go back into the socket.

After that, here's all I know.

3/4" SCH-40 fittings --> 1-1/4" SCH-40 pipe
1" SCH-40 fitting --> 1-1/4" socket, (check this one before you buy anything, because the piston valve I used this fact on is at my friends house)
1-1/4" SCH-40 fittings --> 2" SCH-40 pipe
3" SCH-40 fittings --> 4" SCH-40 pipe
